Sometimes I wonder if my children hear ANYTHING that I say. (I'm sure you moms can relate.) They seem to tune me out more than they hear me. :)
Anyway, the other night at the park with Thomas we were talking about the people who were "talking weird". (You'll have to scroll back to the Mommy and Tommy post for clarification and context on that one.) Thomas was talking about people who weren't obedient and I asked him why people should be obedient. (I love to pick children's brains. They're so awesome! I love the answers they give and the conclusions they come to sometimes.) He gave a somewhat strange non answer that went something like, "We should be obedient." I pressed him again. "Thomas WHY should people be obedient?"
Thomas thought for a minute and then said, "We need to obey God."
(I tell them a lot that we are training them not just to obey humans but are training them to obey so that they can obey God easily when He speaks to them.)
I pressed further, "Yes, we need to obey God but why?"
Thomas replied in a very matter of fact way, "Because He's always watching."

RYC...Jack says he will hold me down so you can spank me! HeeeHeee! And, we got a call/message from the "other lady"...hopefully we will meet with her within the next two weeks. YEAH!!! Wow...I feel like we are moving a warp speed now! YIKES!!!

folks, it really isn't anything inappropriate, just a bunch of nuts suffering from heat exhaustion, causing us to be nuttier than most days!!
