Christmas Pictures

This year we couldn't do a family photo because once Michael had to run the routes again there was no time. :( I really look forward to our annual family picture. Oh well, there's always next year.

So, anyway, I decided to take a photo of the boys with my NEW (and first) digital camera so that I would have something to send in the Christmas cards. Haha!! I am going to show you what our efforts produced. Keep in mind that I told them if they did good they could have one of the molasses cookies we had just made. That's a big deal at our house. We don't give out very much sugar. :)

Sit back and enjoy the ride....

Christmas Photo Op with the Boys

Thomas look up honey!

Judah don't choke him. Gideon quit sliding down.

Mom, clearly I'm not into this.

Man! We're NEVER gonna get our cookie.

(So I thought I would try some individual shots.)

Thomas and Judah did great! So we tried it with Gideon again.

I DON'T WANT my picture taken. Meanwhile the other boys are bravely smiling...again.

That was awful close boys but I can't see your face very well Judah let's try just one more. (Alas, Gideon took off running.)

Sigh, will we ever get the promised cookie? Oh Wait! Here comes Gideon...with....

A blanket on his head! Clearly some sort of protest and effort to be comical.

I took one of that anyway because it was so stinkin hilarious.

AT LAST! Gideon sat up straight and gave me a huge smile; but wait, Thomas isn't looking at the camera and what are the big boys doing with their arms? I give up!

Go ahead. Eat your cookies. HHHmmmm now there's an idea. I could just get them to stand there with the cookies and that could be a cute shot. Do I want cookie crumbs on my floor? No, but today I will make an exception so I can get a cute picture.

Cute, yes. What I wanted, no. :)

At this point I'm beginning to realize that I'm chasing a pipe dream.

Most of you are probably wondering what took me so long. LOL~!

Most of the time he likes his picture taken.

Oh well, it made for a nice blog post.

Love, Angela and boys!

Love the photos!

Thanks for your call this evening. (I hope that Michael was able to get to sleep)
Since we have been off the phone I have been thinking about your dream. Now I am curious to see what God has in mind! More waiting!

Thanks again!

Good idea April. I was thinking of using them to "frame" the letter.

Glad that you enjoyed them.
