So tonight Michael was correcting Judah. He was admonishing him for saying the word hate. We try not to say that word lightly in our house. We are teaching the boys that hate is a very strong word and should not be used except in extreme cases. Also Judah said it to one of us so that made it more offensive. Anyway, Michael was reminding him that hate was a strong word and we don't say it about people. Then he said this...
"We can hate sin, Satan, (pause) and beets."
I just about burst out laughing. I put our Bible story book in front of my face so Judah couldn't see me. The beets thing went over his head anyway because I have never served them. I wouldn't go so far as to say that I "hate" them but I will say that I have a STRONG dislike for them. Anyway, it was really funny. Have a great weekend everyone!!

saves more beets for ME!!! LOVE THEM!!! My mom has two ways of preparing them..pickled and then a cooked version... oh how I could go for some NOW!
Jack does not like them either, so we don't have them around here either.
