Please Pray

Most of you know we lost our driver last month and because of that my husband has been working long hours. He decided to take us on a trip to Gatlinburg, TN this weekend. (no, we didn't copy Tonya and Landon. :) We had this planned since late last month.) Anyway, the boys had pink-eye last week and just when I was rejoicing that it had gone away and we could still go- WHAM! Yesterday I came down with some sort of cold/flu virus. I have been in bed as much as I could today. Michael took Thomas on the route because he's my very high maintenance child. Judah helped with Gideon but I don't think Gid is feeling very well either. He took a mid morning nap which is strange for him and then 2 2/1 hours later he took an almost 5 hour nap. He just went down for bed about an hour ago and seems to be sleeping restlessly. PLEASE PRAY that we can get away this weekend. It's not that important that we go but we need to be together and it's just too hard for Michael to take a break when he's thinking about all the work that he could be getting done downstairs. Even when he's trying hard he is distracted and feels torn. That's why it's important to physically get away. Plus, the kids are REALLY looking forward to this trip. Please pray for a speedy recovery for me and Gideon, no pink-eye recurrence, and for NOBODY else to catch this awful virus. Here's how bad it is. I hardly ever take med, even aspirin or Tylenol. I actually took some TheraFlu yest. I think that's the first OTC cold medicine I've taken since my mid teens. WOW! Anyway, thanks for standing with us in prayer. God is in control but we are truly petitioning Him on this one. :)- Angela :)
