Sonic

Have I mentioned yet that I am very thankful for the new Sonic in town. Yeah! We ate there after church this morning and it was so nice to have a different variety of fast food options. (our boys are pretty die hard McDonald's fans) We try to eat pretty healthy at home so I don't worry about when we are out-usually. :):)

Not too much new going on. I went shopping for some beach stuff yesterday. I got a nice beach tote and some beach sandals for myself. Everyone else in my household already had some.
We are leaving for our vacation on Saturday morning and BOY AM I EXCITED!!!!! Please please pray (seriously) that nothing goes wrong and that we are able to go and have some fun. This will be our first real family vacation that we have ever gone on. (and Judah is 5) We have been on some weekend things but this will be for at least a week. The boys and I have been on some week-long ones to Ohio but Michael always had to fly in and out for the weekend or just not come. :(:( I can't tell you how frustrating having your own business can be when it comes to vacation times. There are definite perks but always having to be there (for 10 years) was rough. The last time Michael and I took a week off was when we went to California for Christmas 6 years ago. So please pray specifically for: good weather, health, traveling mercies, health and safety of our driver Richard, and our business truck to run properly while we're gone... and for our family to have LOTS AND LOTS OF FUN!!!! I would very much appreciate it.
We are going to Cocoa Beach first. The next day we will visit Kennedy Space Center. After that it's off to Orlando for 2 days at Sea World. If we are able (we're working out a wrinkle in our schedule here) our next stop will be Cumberland Island where we will camp overnight and just have fun exploring with the boys. Our last stop will be Jekyll Island where Michael will go deep sea fishing and the boys and I will go island exploring. LOL

For those of you who are praying for our pastor, Pastor Harvey is very tired and will be taking the month of May off but he is continuing to be a beacon of light for Jesus to all he comes in contact with.
A little encouraging story that our Associate Pastor told us Saturday night...

Pastor Harvey was in ICU and one morning the AM nurse came in and asked how he had slept. He said that he hadn't slept at all. He had been up all night. She asked him why didn't he call for one of the nurses to give him something to sleep. His response was that he had been up all night praying and he didn't call for meds because he was having such a good time he didn't want to go to sleep. AWESOME! God is so real and so good!
Blessings everyone!!

I am praying for your safety while traveling, for a hedge of safety around your home and business, that you will have perfect peace, relaxation and a WHOLE bunch of fun. May your vacation be a time your family will remember fondly even after the boys are grown.
Love,
Tharen

I hope you have a wonderful time. It sounds like you have a lot planned for a week. Making up for lost time.

I completely understand. We have never been on a real vacation and Paul always has to fly to TX to meet me there and then go back the very next day. I'm so glad that you are getting to go. You could pray that we could be able to take a vacation. Catrina is praying for us to go camping. That would probably be better since we're saving $ for property. Anything good and cheap out by y'all? Property, that is, not camping.
