Have I mentioned yet that I am very thankful for the new Sonic in town. Yeah! We ate there after church this morning and it was so nice to have a different variety of fast food options. (our boys are pretty die hard McDonald's fans) We try to eat pretty healthy at home so I don't worry about when we are out-usually. :):)
Not too much new going on. I went shopping for some beach stuff yesterday. I got a nice beach tote and some beach sandals for myself. Everyone else in my household already had some.
We are leaving for our vacation on Saturday morning and BOY AM I EXCITED!!!!! Please please pray (seriously) that nothing goes wrong and that we are able to go and have some fun. This will be our first real family vacation that we have ever gone on. (and Judah is 5) We have been on some weekend things but this will be for at least a week. The boys and I have been on some week-long ones to Ohio but Michael always had to fly in and out for the weekend or just not come. :(:( I can't tell you how frustrating having your own business can be when it comes to vacation times. There are definite perks but always having to be there (for 10 years) was rough. The last time Michael and I took a week off was when we went to California for Christmas 6 years ago. So please pray specifically for: good weather, health, traveling mercies, health and safety of our driver Richard, and our business truck to run properly while we're gone... and for our family to have LOTS AND LOTS OF FUN!!!! I would very much appreciate it.
We are going to Cocoa Beach first. The next day we will visit Kennedy Space Center. After that it's off to Orlando for 2 days at Sea World. If we are able (we're working out a wrinkle in our schedule here) our next stop will be Cumberland Island where we will camp overnight and just have fun exploring with the boys. Our last stop will be Jekyll Island where Michael will go deep sea fishing and the boys and I will go island exploring. LOL
For those of you who are praying for our pastor, Pastor Harvey is very tired and will be taking the month of May off but he is continuing to be a beacon of light for Jesus to all he comes in contact with.
A little encouraging story that our Associate Pastor told us Saturday night...
Pastor Harvey was in ICU and one morning the AM nurse came in and asked how he had slept. He said that he hadn't slept at all. He had been up all night. She asked him why didn't he call for one of the nurses to give him something to sleep. His response was that he had been up all night praying and he didn't call for meds because he was having such a good time he didn't want to go to sleep. AWESOME! God is so real and so good!
Blessings everyone!!

Shopping Experience
I took all three boys to K-mart today so that we could do 3 things. First, buy a present for a birthday party Judah is going to tomorrow. Second, look at the women's t-shirts on sale and see if any fit. Third, I needed a pair of sandals.
I usually don't clothes shop with all my children for several reason. #1- They loose patience with me taking so much time trying things on. #2- I loose patience with their impatience. #3- Gideon's screaming and their frustration does not make for a relaxing trip where I can see if something fits well enough to purchase it.
What do I mean by fits well enough. Well, if it's a shirt I first need to make sure it's high enough not to show my chest or my bra (very difficult to find one that covers this season though the shorts are longer) and then if it passes that test I bend over and see if it falls down or gaps etc etc. Usually by then the shirt will be eliminated. If it passes those tests I need to make sure it isn't tight in the back. I don't like any back fat showing. LOL I know, TMI. Then I need to raise my arms over my head to make sure it's long enough. etc etc.
With skirts and shorts I sit down, cross my legs, put my hands to my sides, bend WAY over, etc. to make sure it's modest. Usually I don't want to go through all the antics and just buy high cut shirts and long skirt but every so often I like to branch out.
The boys were cracking me up today. They kept saying "I like that one." or "I don't like that one." I kept pointing out that it showed my bra or my chest, etc. I tried one on that didn't show anything but it accented my chest. (I don't have a big chest) I was thinking about getting it when Judah said, "Mommy that one makes you look small (he meant big)." I looked again and decided that if my 5 year old thought it wasn't modest then I'd better take the hint. So, back it went. LOL
I did come away with several shirts. I even got one with writing on it. heehee (most of you know I generally don't wear printed t-shirts except Old Navy 4th of July ones) It's black and in glittery pink letters it says, "The Drama Begins Here". LOL I got that one to wear around Michael who thinks I'm such a drama queen. I may be but it has certainly served me well in almost every area of my life except my marriage. :):)
He's getting used to it. (mostly)
I did find sandals and the boys found toys for their friend's birthday party while I was looking for t-shirts. That worked out well. They had some summer toys across the aisle from the ladies section so I could see them and they could still look "by themselves". It also gave them something to do so they weren't too bored.
Speaking of bored, most of you are no doubt yawning by now so I will wrap this up with something funny. The boys and I really like the cini-minis at Burger King. So, since there is one next to K-mart and we are currently out of cereal I decided that we would stop there for breakfast before going over to K-mart. After we ate (cini-minis and coffee for me and cini-minis and chocolate milk for them) I was driving across the parking lot to find a spot when an awful thought hit me...
"I just gave my kids SUGAR and now I'm going to try to clothes shop and expect them not to be WILD!!- OOPS! Stupid Mommy moment. Most of you know that we DRASTICALLY limit sugar here (even juice) because my kids are wild enough without it. LOL
All in all it went better than I expected it to. Gid was an absolute angel. That was nice. He's usually very happy at home but he doesn't always like the store experiences.
Anyway, it's getting chaotic here so I need to go. BLESSINGS!- Angela :)

Aaaahhhhhhh
That was a relaxing aaahhh not a horrified AAUUGGHHH!!!
LOL
My house is CLEAN! I am happy about that. Most of you are probably rolling your eyes and saying, "But Angela, your house is always clean."
Well, my friends, not so much anymore. I mean it's not nasty or anything but it's not up to Michael's standards. The funny thing is that he no longer says anything and I've noticed that when he has the boys by himself it's no cleaner. hehehe
The boys and I have been outside so much this week that we've let the cleaning go so we did triple duty today. I have been trying to remember that the boys are more important than a clean house but I think I'm going to go back to the rigid schedule because I'm less stressed when we do it a little at a time. When I let things go for a couple of days I look around and think, "AAUUUGGGHHHHHHHH!!"
Anyway, the boys were excited because I let them help me clean the bathrooms for the first time. (almost as excited as the time they learned to dust). I LOVE IT! I have kids who love to help. (Well it's really that they want to be with us. It's a relationship thing and that's GREAT too!) Actually Judah DOES love to work. I've noticed that Gideon does too. He is constantly shutting doors that are left open and I was shocked today when he picked up a pillow off of the floor and put it back on the bed it had fallen off of. YEAH! Another worker.
I hate to make this so short and boring but everyone is in here now and I'm getting distracted. BLESSINGS everyone!- Angela :)
p.s. We got to play in the rain today!! It was warm enough. The boys were thrilled when I didn't bring them in when it started to rain. The funny thing is that Gideon seemed rather oblivious to it and just kept playing. I kept waiting for a response from him but he never did seem to care one way or the other. LOL

o-O-O Let's Go Fly A Kite!!
I hope that song doesn't remain in your heads like it has in mine all afternoon. It's cute for about the first 3 hours but then it gets old. LOL
We did actually get the kites up in the air today. Ok, to be completely honest MICHAEL got both kites up in the air. I got tired, string burn, etc. HE got them up and the big boys enjoyed "flying" them. I got some video but I have to wait to upload it. The jury is still out on pics and video updates of the children online. Michael wants studies and statistics before he allows our precious children's images to be predator material. I know we already have 2 on here..anyway...
I have been SO enjoying our property the last couple of days. The warm weather helps tremendously. Also, all that land is great for the boys to run, bike, climb, and before we had to go to the field in the park to do what we can do in our own yard now. We flew the kites in the field with a slight trepidation that they might fall at a bad angle and hit a car windshield as someone went down the road. :):) Thankfully that didn't happen. Judah said that the kite flying was the best part of his day. :)- mine too buddy. My other favorite part was when TOTAL Daddy's boy found out it was his turn to sit by me at the table and said, "I'm sitting by Mommy because she loves me every night." Then he ran to me when I held out my arms and gave me a HUGE hug. What a charmer. I was going to ask him what he thought about my love during the days..>LOL
I just finished reading "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe" to the boys. They LOVED it and so we're now on Prince Caspian. My life is complete. I have a baby who is still nursing (he just turned 16 months old if you can believe it!), a great husband, and 2 fabulous preschoolers who I can CLIMB TREES with, play BALL with and NOW to top it all off I am READING the GREATEST series ever with them. Life is GOOOOD!- Until tomorrow- Angela :)

A very nice day
and a VERY boring title but what can you do when your brain is half asleep? LOL
We took Michael's mom back to the airport today. We ate lunch at Red Lobster. That was nice except that just as our food arrived the older boys said they had to go to the bathroom and then just as I got back and sat down to eat Gideon started fussing big time. Most of you know that was pretty out of character for him. I think the teething thing was bothering him. When we got home we briefly tried to fly our kites we bought a few years ago. The boys have been wanting to fly kites for a few days. We have a breeze here quite often and did have some wind today but it was not steady enough to keep the kites in the air. I couldn't even get mine up. Michael got his up a couple of times but there wasn't enough constant wind to keep it in the sky. The boys were getting impatient and we were feeling the efforts were fruitless so we abandoned the kite thing. Instead Michael and I enjoyed the porch swing together and the boys climbed trees and rode bikes. The swing was REALLY nice. He JUST put it up last weekend. We have had it since July of last year. I have been WAITING for that long because I didn't want to nag him and now I'm HAPPY that we can enjoy it. Gideon loves it as well.
I guess I'd better go and get some sleep. It's after 11:00pm. BLESSINGS!- Angela :)
p.s. Thank-you God for beautiful WARM weather!!

A burp, a word, and a short update
This will be short because I'm pretty tired tonight.
A few days ago Judah told us what a burp was. He said,
"A burp is when my stomach is frustrated and wants food quickly."
Gideon has a new word. Before Thursday his words consisted of: Mama, Dada, Bubba (brother), Gin-gin (Ginger-our dog), and he could sign the word please as well as wave bye bye and hello. Thursday he said what sounded like, "go go go." I said to him, "Gideon, did you say GO?" He repeated his babble, "go go go" and went to the door. Today we were outside and he heard Daddy around the house and said, "DADA!" I asked him if he wanted to go and find Daddy and he said, "Dada, go."
It was very sweet.
We are taking Michael's mom to the airport tomorrow. She had a (mostly) nice visit with us this week. (The kids had a hard week obediance wise. The were also very wild. We need to have people over more often so it's not such a novelty.)
If you can, please add our pastor, John Harvey, to your prayer lists. He had a rather serious heart attack this week although he is in good spirits in the hospital. Please pray for God to heal the damage to his heart and also for peace and strength for him and his wife. They are people after God's own heart. :):)
Well I'd better go exercise and go to bed. BLESSINGS everyone!!- Angela :)

I have nothing at the moment...
I have nothing at the moment worth saying. :):) Well, I have several cute stories about the kids but I'll have to post them later when I have a little time and my brain is turned ON. LOL
My mother in law was here for 6 days and she slept in the room the computer is in. That's why you haven't heard from me as much lately. My email time is after the others are asleep so that was impossible this week.
Anyway, since I have nothing exciting to say at the moment I want you to pop in over at the Cox Family's blog and read this http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/SusannahCox/317044/
She summed things up very well. Her style of writing is both intellectual and inspiring. Also relevant. :):) Enjoy Susannah's thoughts today. I'll hopefully be back tomorrow. BLESSINGS!- Angela :)

LOL... at myself
subtitle: Things my kids never thought I'd say...
This morning I was cracking myself up. I was "running" around the kitchen making a glorious brunch (crustless tomato quiche, apple fritters, sausage, pineapple chunks, water, and orange juice) while my kids were being, well, boys. I told them to PLEASE be quiet so I could think. The quiche recipe was a new one. Finally I said, "please eat your breakfast and go upstairs and watch ANOTHER video. They said, "But Mom, we ALREADY watched one!" My response was something like, "So, watch another one." Then I realized that even they themselves were starting to be a bit self controlled about the T.V. like we've been teaching them so I quickly amended with, "or go play in the living room." They are now taking "showers" under chairs and blankets. They are so funny.
That's not even the best one of the morning. They were hungry at about 9am but I was going to serve brunch at about 11:00am (Michael went to pick up his Mom at Bill's house). They asked for more cereal and I said no. They said, "BUT MOM we're HUUUNGRY!!" To which I replied, "If you eat more cereal you won't have room for the doughnuts!" UH... DUH! Not the best Mommy thing I've ever said. They were shocked at that one too. Hopefully that will not come back to haunt me. LOL LOL
Have a great weekend everyone!!- Blessings!- Angela :)

Thanks!
Thank-you to everyone who made me feel like I wasn't talking to myself. LOL
Tharen- So good to "hear" from you! Yes, I DO miss Susie's blog. I can hardly wait for her computer to get fixed.
Jennifer- I have heard of that book. I am still debating reading it because I DO tend to be legalistic (hi Christy!!) and already struggle with condemnation. Not that I let it get me down very much anymore but it's still a struggle. I'm hoping to work up to that book one day. LOL
Catrina- You're so sweet! I really enjoyed your Easter pics. I can't believe that you are ALL in pastels. Haha!!
Blessings!- Angela :)

Sunday School Lessons
I am really enjoying our new Sunday school class. It's a Marriage and Family one and the teacher is a riot. She is really laid back and makes it interesting. She is using a study but we didn't have to buy books or workbooks because she said "nobody will do them."LOL She apparently remembers what it's like to have children and careers. :)
Anyway, most of the information is a great reminder but something in particular stuck out to me on Sunday. It's not new information but it was just the way it was put that made it stick out to me.
We were focusing on marriage in the garden of Eden -before the fall. She wanted us to imagine what the first marriage was like before sin entered the picture. It was perfect. God had done a marvelous job. There was nothing stressful in their relationship, etc. What struck me was that God had made marriage to work PERFECT just as He made everything well. (sin was/ and is the problem) Here's what struck me.
I realize all the time that I'm trying to change the idea of marriage to suit my needs but why am I trying to change something that God made perfect to begin with? Is my version going to be better than Almighty God's? Um...no. He is the author of perfect things. Man made ideas are not going to work half as well. So, I decided to really make even more of an effort to remember that God set up man as the head of the home. The woman is an equal partner with different jobs. We are not the head. I need to remember that if I operate within the way God designed marriage that it will work well. Just thought I'd share what I was learning (and RELEARNING) with y'all. Blessings!- Angela :)

VERY POST BIRTHDAY Blog
SOOOORRYYY!! I'm not sure how many of you read this daily (because I don't get many comments) but if you've all been waiting-or even if you haven't- here is the post birthday edition of Our World.
Jen- Yes the party did me in. Well not exactly the party but that plus 3 little boys. :):):)
Two of Michael's siblings flew in for the event. (He is the youngest of 7 for those of you who don't know.) Renee came from California with Mom and Trent flew in from Missouri. The rest of them couldn't make it this time but of course Bill and his family came over from Demorest. So, we still had enough people to call it a party. There were 13 counting my 3 kids, Bill's two teenage girls, and all the adults. Michael knew something special was up because I was being very secretive. So, on Friday night at about 8:00pm Michael comes into the kitchen says, "I think I'll go over to Bill's house and see Mom. They should be back from the airport by now." I'm like- "NO!" Ok, a little too forceful. He asks, "why?" with this sly wicked grin. GGRRR I tried to cover with "because honey they just got back from the airport. They probably want REST not company." He just laughed at me and told me he knew we were hiding something.
The next day he took Judah and Thomas with him to go and meet Mom for brunch and left Gideon and me to set up the party. I promptly put Gideon to bed so that I could set up without him destroying things and thankfully he was ready for a nap. :):)
I however ran around like a "chicken with my head cut off" trying to set everything up and reheating the food in the microwave. I had ordered authentic Mexican food from a catering company in Texas. It had arrived frozen so I had to reheat it. From them I got: authentic (made by hand) tamales (buffalo, spicy buffalo, pork, and spicy lobster); Spanish rice, green salsa, red salsa, and guacamole. I also made homemade corn chips, warmed up refried beans, made a fiesta cheesecake (not sweet, made with Mexican type ingredients to be used as a dip or eaten), and put out some sour cream. I had made the cheesecake and also an angel food cake the night before. The angel food cake was used for the ...CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!! Those of you who know Michael know how much he likes chocolate. Who doesn't like dipping various things (in our case:strawberries, bananas, graham crackers, marshmallows, pretzels, and angel food cake) into a fountain that is flowing with chocolate? It was a BIG hit! We kept it going for 7 hours and everyone cleaned up almost every morsel on the table to dip. It was also a pretty conversation piece. :):) So glad that I went to the trouble of doing it; and, believe me, it was trouble because I realized too late that I didn't have a big glass bowl to melt the chocolate in the microwave so I had to melt it in my glass 2 cup measuring pyrex thing. It took MUCH longer that way. There is also a learning curve on getting the fountain to run smoothly. thankfully I had allowed for the learning curve but hadn't allowed for the extra 20 minutes it took to melt the chocolate. :):) It still turned out great. They had about 30 minutes of socializing while I finished "steaming" the tamales in the microwave. Everyone seemed to enjoy the food. We all like Mexican, especially Michael's family. I guess it's that growing up in Southern California thing. :):) People shared stories about Michael and some brought pics. :) That was fun. I'm all about the grave stone cakes and the over the hill gags for 40th and 50th birthdays but for Michael I didn't want that. I wanted to celebrate the Lord- the giver of life and thank God for sparing Michael's so many times. :) He really should have been dead in his early 20s. (several times) So, that's what we focused on. Well that and the chocolate fountain. LOL
Anyway, I have gotten behind in blogging because of Resurrection Sunday and then Trent and Renee stayed the night with us Sunday night and we took them back to the airport on Monday morning. We had a lot of fun Sun night. The four of us stayed up LATE and played darts on the dart board I got for Christmas. We also finished the ice cream cake. :):) Hey we were burning all those calories laughing from the dart game. :):)
Anyway, so that's the story. Hope those of you who waited enjoyed it. I could have told several funny moments but I really need to get some cleaning done today. LOL BLESSINGS!- Angela :)

I'M EXHAUSTED!!!
Well the house now sparkles and everything that I can do today is pretty much done. I can't believe it is 12:00am on April 7th!! Party in 12 hours. Wow! I really can't believe that I had to clean for three hours again tonight. The kids have been on a rampage this week. It seems like they just kept finding more and more stuff to get into. Gideon is getting better about knowing what he can get into so he isn't demolishing the house all the time but he still does a fair amount of "redecorating".
Well, that's about it. I just thought I'd share that it's midnight and I'm finally DONE cleaning. Just have to get up tomorrow and get Michael and older boys out the door by 9:15am. Then I can have several hours to set up the party stuff. The kids picked out presents today at Walmart for Daddy. They are toys but they did pretty good. Read the post birthday blog to find out. Forgive me if that blog is not posted tomorrow. I may be passed out from all the effort, or sailing on a major sugar high. LOL Gotta go! BLESSINGS!- ADL

Who Knew?!
OK, yesterday my dryer did get "fixed". (i just didn't have time to tell the story yest.) Turns out there wasn't anything that needed fixing. let me explain....This may be valuable information for some of you in the future so listen up! haha
This is $125.00 worth of information-FREE! (actually it's also in you GE manual but who actually reads those things?)
Our problem started a few days ago when I noticed a little water on the floor during the marathon Barfing/Bedwetting laundry stint. At first I thought that maybe I took something out that didn't spin as well as it should have and dripped water on the floor in the process. After all, it was only a very small amount. Later I noticed it again but thought it must not have dried yet. The next morning I noticed a huge puddle when I went to get the rolling hamper to take to my bedroom to gather dirty clothes. I then realized that the puddle extended into the next room (thankfully a room that has only linoleum). The only "carpet" that got wet was my rug in the entrance to the laundry "room" and I just hung it out to dry.
So, I'm trying to figure out where the leak is coming from. I knew that I didn't put too many clothes it. We just had our motor replaced years too early because I tend to stuff loads full so now I don't do that anymore. So, I proceed to move the washer and more water appears. Every time I moved it there was more water but I couldn't tell if it was still leaking or if the puddle was just under the washer and I hadn't gotten it all up yet. I noticed that all the tubes that connected the washer to various things were dry except for the one that is connected to the drain. We (Michael and I) removed that tube and noticed water backed up. We went outside to see if something had gotten in the tube or if grass had grown up around it. (when they plumbed this house they didn't connect the washer to the septic tank. It has a run off into the woods. So Michael went and dug out around that. Then he poured liquid plumber into the tube and we let it sit. Then, hours later, we poured first boiling and then hot water into the tube to check the drain. Drain was looking ok. sigh.
Michael got out the manual because that's the wise king of guy he is and read me fascinating information. The manual actually says that after a load is washed you should leave the lid up to let the moisture evaporate (I didn't know that. I don't actually know anyone who does that but I'm sure there are lots of people who do...somewhere....manual readers). Anyway, back to the point. We had pretty much ruled everything out until Michael came to the Oversudsing section. hhhmmm Now, normally I don't put extra soap into the washer. However, a few days ago (when I noticed the problem) I HAD done that several times because of the Dried Vomit. I was trying to make sure I got it all out. Also I used a different detergent for those. The Purex (which so far has worked great for a cheap price) just wasn't cutting it. (we also had some sour clothes we were washing that the Purex wasn't working on either even after letting them soak- and they were darks so bleach wasn't an option) So, I had gone out and bought Tide with Febreeze because I KNEW that Tide could conquer anything. (within reason anyway!- I LOVE TIDE) The reason we don't use Tide is that my husband has sensitive skin and Tide makes him break out sometimes.
So I remembered that I had added extra detergent in the last several loads.... Right about when I noticed the problem.
Still, we did have the service guy come just to make sure that was the actual problem. Sure enough...He went on to give me this info (this is the FREE information)...
He said that it is a common problem. He also said that the reason that the water didn't come out until I moved the washer was because of the channels in the bottom and the drains for the channels are at the top. He also said that oversudsing can effect the washer because bubbles get built up in the tube that is connected to the automatic shut off for the water which causes it to not fill properly or not spin as long. That's when you get heavy wet clothes that don't look as if they have gone through the spin cycle. He did check everything else too but he said that all looked good. He also went on to say that he'd been doing this for 12 years and that at about 98% of the homes that have the same problem I did the customers used Tide detergent. He said that he wasn't a scientist but that something must be different about that particular detergent because it is the extreme offender. He also mentioned that in the North Carolina/North Georgia area we tend to have softer water. With soft water you don't have to add as much detergent. (hard water you need more) So, even people who are adding the "correct" amount of Tide are adding too much in the first place and if they have soft water it's way too much. HE suggested that when we use Tide we should only put in 1/2 of the recommended amount. We also had a nice discussion about things that can ruin a motor and he told me a story of a lady whose motor got ruined after her husband left bullets in his pocket. They went right through the holes into the motor. Good thing they weren't ignited. :):) That would have been interesting.
Anyway, his final comment was that if he were still working for GE (he is independent now) the visit would be $125. $60 for the service call and $50.00 for "customer education".
Anyway, we didn't have to pay that much so we were grateful but I thought I would write this here just in case anyone ever needed this info...or you could always read your manual.
BLESSINGS!-

3 Days and Counting
Hello Everyone!
Well, it's 3 days and counting. The last package came today. I just have to say that it smelled SOOOOOO GOOD! Even though it was mostly frozen the food smelled so fresh, like they used very fresh ingredients and no filler. I'm anxious to taste it on Saturday. I wrapped some things up in tin foil and put them in the fridge (so Michael couldn't see what they were) and others went into the freezer. All the paper products, serving things, ingredients, etc. are bought and hidden in the mud room. I even thought about how to set it all up and have diagrammed it out on paper. LOL Can you tell that I'm excited about the party?
The boys have been making mess after mess so I have been very Irritated Mommy today. A couple times I slipped into Screaming Mommy but quickly repented. I had a good time playing the guitar and worshipping Jesus this morning. It was mostly uninterrupted time too so that was REALLY nice. Gideon was in the room eating but the other boys were upstairs watching a video. One good thing about spring/summer is that they kids definitely watch less videos. They would MUCH rather be outside and I can't blame them a bit. Gideon LOVES the outside. He is always squealing and pointing at the door. He is in LOVE with Ginger our dog. He calls her GIN GIN. It's really cute even when he's squealing it in this high pitched voice. Thank goodness his voice doesn't tend to carry very far.
Upstairs bathrooms tomorrow. Also Vacuuming. Also finish putting away the laundry and do one final load. I think I did 4 or 5 today. I can't remember anymore. I lost track.
Oh, keep those prayers coming. Nobody else has the stomach flu but Gideon loos to have a cold and he has a big rash too. We're not sure if it's some virus, or an allergic reaction to our new detergent, or a reaction from the fire ant bites he got today. That kid has the HIGHEST pain tolerance. He doesn't even flinch when they bite him. Amazing! Well, I guess not too amazing considering all the "tough love" his brothers give him.
Goodness is it 10:32pm already?! I need to go do stomach crunches, take a quick shower, and hit the sack. Bon Soir!

A Lesson in Flexibility
Those of you who know me well know that flexibility is NOT one of my gifts. However, I seem to be doing rather well today. (could it be the Bridegroom fast?-hhhmmmm) I had a wonderful list of certain chores to accomplish on certain days so that I could get everything done before Saturday with minimal stress. Well, Thomas throwing up all over the sleeping bag, pillow, clothes, etc he was laying on and in, put me way behind. (not to mention that the same night Judah wet, not one but TWO beds.-more laundry) So, I didn't let that bother me yesterday I just did something else. I rearranged. Imagine my surprise when I went to do the laundry today and the washer is having problems and is INOPERABLE!!! AAUUGGHH. Ok I didn't freak out but I am now 2 days and 6 loads behind. Someone is coming in the morning to fix it because Michael and I tried troubleshooting all day to no avail.
I REFUSE to go to the Laundromat because I won't put my laundry where someone else may have put their dirty clothes and also I get SO BORED there. It used to drive me NUTS in college to go. Anyway, it should hopefully be fixed tomorrow. Then I can catch up. Thankfully I just rearranged again today. Still on target really just not my original schedule.
Thomas said the sweetest thing to Michael last night. He crawled up in Michael's lap, leaned his beautiful face back and said, "Daddy, you're my best friend." Michael practically turned into a puddle on the couch. SO PRECIOUS!
I'm just waiting for one more package to come for Michael's party. It is being overnighted tonight and will be here tomorrow. I have everything else hidden. The kids and I are so excited. We ordered his cake from Dairy Queen today. The kids picked the design. Well they each put in a vote anyway. Judah liked one and Thomas like another. I thought both were good so I just held the pics up to Gideon and he smiled and grabbed for the one Judah picked. It's fitting in a cute way.

THANK-YOU
Thank-you to all who prayed yesterday. Thomas is better. Nobody else seems to have it. Please continue to uphold our family's health in your prayers. Countdown to Michael's party...4 days. :)
I can't write the details about it here because even though he knows there is a party there are many surprises about it that he doesn't know. So, you'll have to read the post birthday blog to find out the details.
Nothing much new here except deep cleaning for the party. While Michael and Judah were gone Friday night I cleaned the house THOROUGHLY after Gid and Thomas went to bed. (removed all-most-of the clutter, organized the guest room closet, wiped down walls, used my bleach pen, dusted our chandelier, etc., etc., etc....) It looked so good that I kept walking from room to room to admire it. It didn't last long because after Gid woke up there were things all over the floor. I had to laugh. Within minutes of him waking up he had gotten into the baby wipes and strewed them all over the living room and kitchen. LOL
Gotta go- laundry is calling my name. Loudly.
BLESSINGS!- Angela :)

Prayer Request
Please pray for the health of our family. Thomas has a stomach thing that we thought was gone but he threw up last night while he was sleeping. YUCK!
Anyway we are having a party on Saturday for Michael's birthday (the BIG 40) so people will be here at our house. Pray that nobody else gets this thing and that Thomas feels better TODAY! (this is day 4) Thank-you!
Precious to the Lord are the prayers of His saints!
(I know that's not a verse but I also know that He delights in our prayers.)
Blessings!- Angela :)
